One of the worst things about upper back and shoulder pain is how difficult it can be to rub out the pain because of where it’s located.
It’s much easier to massage away pain in your arms, legs, neck or even your lower back with your own hands.
Fortunately, stretching out tight shoulder and upper back muscles becomes easy with a willing partner. That’s what Dr. Mark Wiley and Steve Hefferon will demonstrate for you in today’s video.
Since most upper back and shoulder pain involves a tight trapezius muscle, the two techniques here will help you stretch that muscle to relieve stress and tension.
In as little as two minutes with these simple stretching techniques you can get significant relief from shoulder, upper back, and even neck pain.

Steve, thank you for the video. Getting into a routine we always forget something over the long term. You reminded me to push away from the affected area. How many times have I put myself back (2 steps forward, 1 step back) by massaging the wrong WAY – literally!
