Success Stories – Part 19

“More Back Pain Success Stories….”

“I have done the assessments and started the exercises. As a kindergarten/first grade teacher it is great to be off the drugs. I am on my feet all day and it is great to be back in the land of the living again!

I had been in severe pain. I could not teach, use the computer or even walk without hurting. I kept asking the doctors about physical therapy and was given the run around. “Let’s wait. It would probably aggravate your situation.” I knew there must be something I could do!

I have a good friend who is a physical therapist and he mentioned your program. The cost did not fit in my budget but neither did all the drugs. I bit the bullet and ordered it. I am so glad I did. I can now be a loving teacher again!

My heart kept telling me if I could strenghten my muscles the problem would be solved. If only I had listened earlier I could have saved thousands of dollars on medicine and doctors visits. When I read your testimonials I wondered if they were real. I know now they are! Thank you so much for helping me be human again.

“I found the videos to be very helpfull. Due to severe pain I haven’t been able to do very much of the stretching but I am slowly working on the 4 sciatica moves. I’m looking forward to doing almost all of the stretches in the future. I’m confident that the moves will be an excellent addition to my everyday work-outs. I’m sure they will BE my everyday work-out for the next several weeks while I’m recouperating from my herniatd discs.(2) Thank-you for the positive spin on what could have been a very painfull and and scary future.”

“Hi, thank you so much for your interest in my progress. Actually, I have been going to therapy requested by my doctor. And, I have let them read your book to help me determine what exercises would be best for my situation. I had x-rays back around the middle of March but just the other day found out what the x-rays showed. Seems I have severe degenerative disease of the L-spine. So, the therapists are recommending not only stretching but also exercise that will help to strengthen my back as well. I do swim Monday thru Friday and have for several years.

This is really a god send as it helps my pain a lot. But, when walking very much my back gets stiff and I tire out very fast. I am 73 and also have CML Leukemia which has been in remission for 2-1/2 years. I was diagnosed in 2005. 7/1/05. And, I also have had a total knee replacement of my right knee. Talk about old age setting in!! This all hit me just after I turned 70. Needless to say, I am working at trying to get back some kind of qauality of life so that I can again walk like I used to – or, at least walk more than I am now. I have read through “Losethebackpain” and feel that the exercises will be a lot of help. When I ordered your book I had sciatic nerve pain on my left side so bad that I had to hold onto the walls to walk and I was afraid I was headed for a wheelchair.

A friend brought me a “Sacro Wedgy” that she had purchased on line. That little tool absolutely solved my sciatic problem almost immediately. But, I still had the stiffness in my back along with pain and I thought your book would address my problems on that score. And, it has to a degree. Hopefully, if I keep up the exercise that has been given by the therapists and incorporate your exercises too, I will get back to the world of the living. Exercise and stretching seem to be the key to arthritis pain. And, of course, swimming and walking and exercising in the water is more than a huge benefit. My husband died 7 years ago but if he were still around, I am sure sex would help alot too?”

Thanks for your concern,
Georgia Allison

“I had injured my low back for the first time about 5 years ago and seem to have a major episode yearly taking longer to heal each time with multiple chiropractic tx’s- My adjustments weren’t holding this last time and I developed sciatica and I was getting discouraged because I was told not to excercise and this was lasting months. I was also told the older I get the more my adjustmets may not hold etc- all negative.

I felt there had to be something else I could do instead of treat the symptoms so I went online and found this system! After doing the assesment I felt I had FTP and HH on the right and FHS and sciatica- I could not believe the photos- I thought I was standing straight and my shoulder was down- I was shocked. After doing the excercises for about 1 month (except for sciatica) I realize I stopped having sciatica- I did not have hardly any low back pain when I started but I wanted prevention- not just go along and wait for the next major episode!

I am encouraged and would like some input on a few things. It seems like the sciatica excercizes and the rt HH excercizes contraindicate each other- they are on the same side. Should I not do the sciatica ones? How long until I should take the pictures again and start some regular excercize. Thank you so much for giving all of us hope for a healthy back withoug a lifelong disability.”

God bless
Theresa
