Fibromyalgia is a catch-all term for various types of pain. Because of this the only surefire way to fight it is a holistic, comprehensive approach.
And that starts with your diet.
Less unhealthy foods and more vegetables and whole grains. Move toward organic foods as much as possible to reduce your intake of pesticides and herbicides. Filter your water and clean up your personal environment to further minimize your intake of chemicals.
What goes out is important too…
Two bowel movements a day are ideal in order to remove the toxins from your body. Without proper excretion, toxins are backing up in your system, which makes fibromyalgia worse. This means more fiber and probiotic supplements for good gut health.
Next requires removal of “trigger points”…physical areas of scarred or knotted muscles. Trigger points can alter your nervous system itself along with your muscle tissue and they need to be physically removed.
Finally are the emotional aspects of fibromyalgia. If you are an individual who is holding on to an injustice or wound from an earlier time in your life, find a way to let it go.
