Incurable Cancer Gone!

If there's anything that gets me fighting mad, its bumbling government agencies interfering with legitimate and successful treatments for the many ailments humans suffer.

But when those same agencies directly oppress proven treatments that can save lives... lives that even conventional medical doctors admit they can't help... well that brings to mind a whole stream of words that's frankly not fit to print.

Now a new documentary shows how one determined doctor had to fend off repeated attacks from a corrupt government agency for 14 years just to help his patients. But when threatened with multi-million dollar fines and lifetime imprisonment he refused to give up.

His crime? He found a cure for cancer... and dared to help his patients without going through Big Pharma.

Now this didn't happen in some third-world country with a deranged military dictator. I'm talking right here in the United States of America. And the agency that opposed his efforts every step of the way is none other than our trusty old FDA.

What? You haven't heard of Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski? You thought there was no cure for cancer? You've never heard of antineoplastons? Let me introduce you:

Five times the FDA brought Dr. Burzynski before grand juries for prosecution. The first four times the grand juries refused to even indict him. The agency's clear aim to silence him led to Congressional hearings on the agency's conduct. Just a week later, on their 5^th attempt, the FDA finally indicted him.

Two federal trials, and two sets of jurors finding him completely innocent of any wrongdoing later, the good doctor was finally allowed to move forward with helping his patients and even allowed to participate in FDA-approved clinical trials to make his discovery more widely available.

The results of Dr. Burzynski's antineoplastons treatment so far have been nothing short of astonishing. It has proven effective against virtually every form of cancer. But he wanted to prove it could do what no other cancer treatment had done before: cure the incurable.

Childhood Brainstem Glioma is considered by many to be the most aggressive and untreatable form of cancer. Because of its location in the brainstem and how the cancer intertwines with it, surgery is not an option. The only conventional interventions left are radiation and chemotherapy.

After months of horrendous side effects, a study of 107 children "treated” with radiation or chemotherapy found only 1 child which became cancer free. That child died less than five years later. It seems if the cancer doesn't kill you, the chemo and radiation will.

But children diagnosed with the same Brainstem Glioma cancer were treated with antineoplastons by Dr. Burzynski in FDA-supervised clinical trials. 11 out of 40 patients were cancer free by the end of treatment. None of these children had to suffer side effects like radiation and chemotherapy cause. And all of those who became cancer free continued to live healthy lives far beyond the 5 year mark.

That's better than 1 in 4 incurable cancer patients... cured. We all wish it was 100% of patients were cured. Dr. Burzynski continues to work towards that goal. But isn't a non-toxic treatment with a 27.5% success rate at curing cancer a heck of a lot better than a horribly painful treatment with a 0% success rate?
