my daughter is 25, has siatica, fibrodmiagia, and arthritis! She blames me, but she doesn’t take care of herself! I have some back problems, but they are less painful since I changed my diet and exercised. How can I help her, or get her to check you out?
this is june now so I hope you have had other responses to your question: However here is mine. I have 4 children over 23 years old and for a long time I felt responsible for every discomfort they had. Now they have taken a stand and told me that they are adults and they alone are responsible for their own health and life style choices. Wow. was I ever taken aback. after many months or years now of de-programming my own guilt response I see them make their own choices good or bad. I stay away, out of the love , to let the child become a real adult. Help them when they ask, but leave them to the consequences of their choices. That way they will learn to take charge of their own life and leave Mom out of it. It help to remind them that they are responsible for their own happiness. Although all can share in it. best of luck and may God bless you to be strong for YOU Lisa
