Tight muscles are a frequent cause of lower back pain.
Most of the lower back pain cases we see are the result of muscle imbalances that cause a postural dysfunction called a forward tipping pelvis. This is common in large part to how many of us sit all day long working at a desk or driving, which creates extremely tight thigh muscles.
While you can stretch out these tight muscles on your own, the stretching exercises demonstrated today are great for relieving lower back pain when you have a spouse, workout partner, or friend willing to lend you a hand.
The first technique demonstrates how a partner can help you warm up and stretch those painfully tight lower back muscles.
The second technique works wonders at relieving that thigh tightness which causes a forward tipping pelvis. When you help your thigh muscles relax with this partner stretch, it often brings instant lower back pain relief.
Great demo. Many thanks. I’ll try it in my next callisthenics session.
