Police State America: Forced Medicine

What would you do to protect your child?

Medicine: Whose choice is it?

If you’ve ever questioned the length to which the government will go to force us to medicate our children… against our will if necessary… you don’t have to look far to discover the frightening truth.

Just ask Detroit mother Maryanne Godboldo.

After homeschooling her physically challenged 13-year-old daughter Ariana for some time, Maryanne chose to enroll her daughter in school. This required Ariana to submit to state mandated immunizations.

Like most well-meaning parents, Maryanne dutifully allowed the immunizations. But adverse reactions to the shots led to Ariana, who had never acted up previously, to begin having noticeable behavior problems.

Concerned, Maryanne brought her daughter to a nearby medical center for help. A doctor at the Detroit Children’s Center where she went prescribed Risperdal, an antipsychotic drug. The problem is the Risperdal caused Ariana’s symptoms to get worse — not better.

Realizing that the prescribed drug was harming her daughter, Maryanne sought a second opinion from another doctor. Following the second doctor’s advice to take Ariana off the antipsychotic medicine and try more holistic and natural methods of treating her led to significant improvement.

At this point one would hope that wisdom would prevail and the Godboldo’s could get back to living a relatively normal life thanks to a doctor who wasn’t afraid to buck Big Pharma. But that’s where Maryanne’s bad dream was about to turn into a real nightmare.

As a result of Maryanne’s refusal to continue feeding her daughter the poisonous drugs, Child Protective Services was called. Regardless of the fact that she was acting in her daughter’s best interests… that there was no law requiring her to give the drug to her daughter… and despite the fact the drug itself caused adverse reactions… Maryanne was given an ultimatum: Resume the drug therapy or have her child taken away.

Now let me stop right here and tell you… I don’t care what other parents may or may not do, but if you put me in a situation where I have to choose between my child’s health or what some government bureaucrat thinks is best… I’m going to stand up and fight for my child.

Apparently I must have something in common with Maryanne because that’s what she did too.

When CPS came knocking at her door last month with members of the Detroit Police Department’s Special Response Team to take her child — refusing to even show a warrant — Maryanne rightfully refused to let them in the door.

So the police broke it down.

Now the stories conflict here as they often do, but around the time the officers entered her home a shot rang out inside the house. Realizing they were up against a mother who means business when it comes to protecting her child, the police quickly backed out the door and a 10-hour standoff ensued with a SWAT team, police tank, the whole 9 yards outside her home.

I understand many readers will reflexively say the mother was wrong by grabbing a gun when the police were there… that she endangered her daughter, herself, and others by doing so. This may be true, but there is a line that gets crossed in situations like these when you do whatever it takes to protect your child.

At what point do we say enough is enough? Would you pull out a gun to protect your child from being kidnapped? Should it make any difference that the person attempting to kidnap your child — which is the unlawful taking and/or confinement — is wearing a uniform and on the government payroll?

I guarantee you that no one will want to cross that line with my children and family — in or out of uniform.

That’s all I’m going to say on the matter for now… partly because Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com already wrote an excellent piece on just this subject due to this exact case. I encourage you to read his article, which includes more information on the case on how you can help: The Maryanne Godboldo question: When do parents have the right to shoot back against state-sponsored kidnappers?

In the meanwhile, this outrage still goes on. Maryanne’s daughter was promptly taken from her and placed in state “care” while Maryanne faces a slew of felony charges.

Sadly, since being confined away from her mother, it appears Ariana has been sexually molested as her mother was notified that her daughter has contracted an STD. Her daughter was not sexually active and did not have the STD before being taken by the state — we know this because of a medical exam before she went into their custody.

Now again, let me ask you… what would you do to protect your child?

My blood is boiling up right now reading this. I know of situations where Mom and Dad are using illegal drugs, felony charges of fraud and the government will not do anything about it. No, their parental rights are protected. Even when everyone who know the situation wants to help out and take the children to help raise them in a good way. And now this type of action because of multi-million dollar corporations in the back pockets of the government. Hypocritical at its best.
