If you’ve been reading the LosetheBackPain.com newsletter, you know we’ve highlighted the many important benefits of human growth hormone (HGH), including boosting your metabolism, staying (and getting) fit and trim, and boosting your daily energy…

So it was GREAT to hear that Dr. Oz also believes HGH is very important…

He notes its correlation with obesity and that it plays a crucial role in staying younger and healthy, but your body’s ability to make it starts to decline when you hit 30 years of age… and declines about 2% yearly thereafter.

Several of his recommendations for increasing HGH also reflect our own, including boosting your intake of the amino acid l’arginine and sleeping in as much dark as possible (Dr. Oz suggests wearing a sleep mask to block light, because you get the best sleep in the dark and sleep is when your body produces the most growth hormone.)

  1. Brian says:

After getting blood tests that indicated lower than ideal levels of Growth Hormone I’ve been working to improve it. I do high intensity interval training followed by no sugar or carb consumption for at least 45 minutes (high blood sugar shuts down GH release immediately), cold processed whey protein, and oral GH factor precursors. Getting good results so far and blood levels are back to optimal levels.
