“Sludge Blood”

Is this the REAL Reason You’re STILL in Pain No Matter What You Do?

…Plus, a Simple Solution that Delivers a Rush of Soothing Relief

What do you see in the picture above?

Some might see a beautiful, brightly-colored piece of coral reef…

Others might see a work of art… a miniature reproduction of a tree on fire…

But the reality is much darker.

And deadly.

What you’re looking at is actually a real human blood clot.

But not one surgically removed from the brain or some other part of the body. No, this clot was actually ‘coughed up’ by the unfortunate soul who produced it.

Yes, you read that right. This clot represents a perfect cast of the bronchial tree, the network of tubes that pass air from our windpipe into our lungs.

This case was published in the New England Journal of Medicine just last year. It represents an astonishing medical marvel. Never before has such a large, completely intact blood clot been produced through a single cough.

This begs the question, HOW could a clot of this size and complexity survive the quick but forceful journey through the lungs, windpipe, and mouth…

While staying so perfectly formed?

And more importantly, what does this have to do with your unrelenting joint or back pain that just won’t go away no matter what you try?

Let’s answer both of those questions right now.

What is ‘Sludge’ Blood and
How Does it Keep You in Pain?

Chances are, your blood is a lot heavier and “thicker” than it should be…

This “high viscosity” or “sludge” blood is at the source of several health concerns… especially chronic joint pain.

While your doctor probably never told you about this, it’s a very real phenomenon in our modern world.

On any given day you’re constantly bombarded with dangerous toxins. Cleaning products, processed and canned foods, perfumes, air fresheners, even shower curtains contain harmful chemicals that can derail our health.

According to the Global Healing Center, we’re exposed to over 2 MILLION toxins every single day. What do you think this toxic onslaught does to our immune system?

Kicks it into overdrive! Forcing it to work feverishly day and night to keep us healthy, neutralize threats, and repair damage. But because of these nonstop attacks, our immune system can get “stuck” in high gear.

Just like a car accelerating from 0 to 100 mph, but then staying at 100 for prolonged periods of time without slowing down.

When this happens, every now and then a breakdown will occur. And this risk only increases with age. One breakdown in particular is linked to chronic pain and inflammation… especially in your joints.

In our blood, we have numerous proteins constantly swirling about, just waiting to be activated. Each of these proteins serve different functions.

One of the largest blood proteins we have is called fibrinogen. When we sustain an injury, our bodies convert fibrinogen into its active form, fibrin. Fibrin is an enormous, sticky, mesh-like protein that rushes to the site of injury to help form blood clots and promote healing.

Remember the rare ‘coughing clot’ from earlier?

The doctor speculated the reason why this anomaly was possible, was due to a higher than normal level of fibrin in the patient’s blood! This allowed the blood to congeal enough around the bronchial tree and stay intact during the cough.

You’re already familiar with this process outside your body. If you cut your finger, it bleeds. But the bleeding doesn’t last long (at least under normal circumstances).

Your blood clots at the site of injury, the bleeding stops, and a scab gradually forms over the cut. This is thanks to the work of fibrin and other clotting factors.

This same type of process also takes place inside our body, when we sustain trauma to tissues in our back, hands, knees, hips, elbows and anywhere else.

You see, fibrin is a double-edged sword.

We need it to help heal our wounds and injuries.

But once fibrin’s job is done, it needs to be deactivated.

We have certain enzymes in our blood that do this on autopilot. They’re called proteolytic enzymes because they are designed to breakdown proteins like fibrin.

Here’s the problem: our levels of these enzymes drop drastically as we age. And once you’re past 50, these fibrin-deactivating enzymes really take a nosedive.

When this happens, excess fibrin deposits start accumulating in our blood, turning it into a thick, bulky sludge. Imagine trying to pour thick, molasses syrup through a tiny pixie straw, and you’ll get the idea.

Essentially, your entire bloodstream turns into a ‘stagnant swamp’… with your blood flow slowing to a crawl.

Not only does this increase your risk of developing a blood clot, but it spells disaster for your heart too. Reduced blood flow means less oxygen and vital nutrients make it into your heart tissues.

You do the math. It isn’t pretty.

But here’s where things really get interesting from a chronic pain perspective…

Inflammation ⇒ No Oxygen ⇒ PAIN!

When fibrin runs amok due to a deficiency in the enzymes needed to break it down, it blocks blood flow to the site of injury.

This prevents oxygen and rejuvenating nutrients from reaching the damaged tissues.

The result?

Even more damage occurs and your body becomes trapped in a state of chronic inflammation. And when this happens, you’re in for a whole world of hurt (as you probably experienced many times before).

According to the Journal of Clinical Investigation, fibrin deposits are a prominent feature of inflammatory events that cause debilitating joint damage.1

An article published by Harvard Medical School really puts into perspective the danger of chronic inflammation:

“All of us adults have some level of chronic inflammation slowly waging a war of attrition on tissues and organs, its activity often evidenced only in blood tests. But if it’s turned up a notch or two, chronic inflammation can wear away at the body so that the damage is devastating.”2

The evidence is clear. Chronic inflammation is a one-way ticket to pain, suffering, and disability.

And when you look at the solutions offered by traditional medicine, it’s a joke. But those who have suffered for years, living in pain and isolation…

They’re not laughing.

Let’s be honest, most pain meds are pretty much useless here… especially anti-inflammatory drugs.

Why?

They’re a glorified band-aid.

Pain meds can only do one thing… they block the pain signal.

They only help address the symptoms of inflammation. Symptoms, NOT the underlying cause. That means if you’re lucky, you might get a few hours of relief.

But the pain and burning inflammation always comes back, doesn’t it?

Oh, and let’s not forget about the buffet of wonderful side effects…

Kidney damage, stomach ulcers, heart attacks…possibly even death. I don’t know about you, but those aren’t very appealing to me. Especially when you consider how little you get in return.

Fortunately, there is a much simpler, safer, and more effective solution.

An Unlikely Olympic Discovery Dissolves
“Sludge Blood” and Lowers Inflammation

Fibrin gunking up your blood is pretty grim. Thankfully, a simple solution exists to break down fibrin, restore oxygen flow, and relieve pain. It all started in the ice rink of all places.

Ice hockey is one of the most violent sports in the world. The average professional hockey player measures in at 6 ft. 1 in. tall and weighs 204 pounds.

Imagine a 200 lb human freight train on skates hurtling at you at over 20 miles per hour…

Brandishing a giant wooden ‘stick’ with the goal of knocking you into next week…and maybe breaking a few bones in the process.

The brutal nature of hockey makes for the perfect setting to experiment with new ways of healing the human body and neutralizing painful inflammation.

The Germany Olympic hockey team caught onto this in the 1990’s, when they began using a special enzyme “cocktail” on their players.

The effects of this enzyme cocktail were astounding…

They found that players who took this special enzyme blend healed from their injuries faster. They experienced incredible reductions in bruising, swelling, and inflammation…regaining their mobility and getting back in action. FAST.

The benefits of these enzymes were so remarkable, the Germany team ordered 1 million capsules for their athletes to use in the 1998 Olympics.

Clinical studies confirm the inflammation fighting and injury healing powers of these enzymes.

One double blind study looked at the effect of this proteolytic enzyme blend in 44 people with sports-related ankle injuries.

Participants who took the enzymes experienced a whopping 50% improvement in healing time!3

The American Boxing Association (ABA) even recommends boxers start taking these enzymes a couple days before their fights to help reduce inflammation from getting battered with punches.

As you can see, these enzymes are proven to help athletes recover from injuries faster and reduce painful inflammation…

If professional athletes are receiving such tremendous benefit, imagine what these special enzymes can do for the average person like you and me.

If they are healing brutal sports injuries, do you think they can help keep your back loose and nimble…

And your joints fluid and mobile…

All while staying pain-free, independent, and active?

Absolutely!

Fibrin-Eating “Pacman”

You’re probably wondering, what the heck ARE these mysterious enzymes?

I’ll tell you right now.

*Fight the flames enzyme #1: Bromelain

This proteolytic enzyme is found in pineapple. A bunch of studies have proven bromelain’s effectiveness in reducing painful inflammation.

One double blind study looked at the effect of taking daily bromelain in 73 people with knee pain. Bromelain reduced pain measures by a whopping 80%!4

*Fight the flames enzyme #2: Papain

Papain is found in the papaya fruit. It decreases inflammation like bromelain and is a powerful antioxidant. It’s been used as a meat tenderizer for thousands of years due to its ability to break down protein.

Together, bromelain and papain form a super “Pacman” of sorts…

Gobbling up excess fibrin and breaking it down. This is the key to avoiding dangerous “Sludge Blood” and transforming your bloodstream from a stagnant swamp…

Into a fluid, free-flowing river, just like mother nature intended.

“God in a Bottle”

Now before you hop in the car and race down to your local supermarket to load up on pineapple and papaya…

Let me tell you why that’s not a good idea.

To get the pain-fighting benefits of bromelain and papain, you must consume them in the right doses. This means the exact doses proven to work in clinical studies. That’s NOT going to happen by eating pineapple and papaya.

Unless you’re going to feast on nothing but those 2 fruits for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…every single day. And even then, you’re not guaranteed to get the full therapeutic dose.

And let’s be honest… that would be kind of crazy.

Fortunately, there is a much easier way to receive the full benefits of bromelain and papain…
