The formula in Rub on Relief has 4 separate clinical studies behind it please read the review of just one study.
The Results of a Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Study
This double-blind placebo-controlled study evaluating the effectiveness of this topically applied formula demonstrated clinically significant relief on pain and limitation of motion in patients with rheumatoid and or osteoarthritis.
Relief was most apparent in patients with the lower motion in comparison to mild patients with the lower symptom scores. Other parameters showed trends of clinical improvement, although they were not clinically significant statistically. Topical use of medication was associated with absence of systemic side effects in the study in contrast to what may have occurred with systemic medications, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
The type of benefit obtained is similar to that obtained with systemic medications and broader than that to be expected from counter-irritants and P-blockers, such as Capsaicin.
