KARIN THIEME
Dr. Mark Wiley: I read your Arthritis Reversed and decided for my part to get again more seriously involved. "Back pain" is definitely part of my life since I am 30 years old. I am now 84, and stenosis and OA, Sciatica nerve pain, and the imbalance seem to be my unbearable companions for ever, and the pain has gotten worse I am sorry to say. After seven lumbar operations in my life, incredible years of headaches, and more than too many Epidure injections and MRI's were part of my daily life. I tried to reach you various ways and I hope this note will somehow end up with you. Before I proceed with your program I am going to read Arthritis Reversed again of course. I realized that many times I was already familiar with your food restrictions and some of your approaches, but I liked the way you balanced everything so very clearly. I admire you for the forceful attitude exhibited by you when you dealt with your own situation. This will be my model in a certain way. I cannot allow myself too many therapists and other luxuries anymore, and I need to go through this on my own — there will be lots of learning, lots of new starts. You refer in the appendix of your book to Chinese Medicine for Arthritis and I thought of picking the Wong Lop Kong Medicated Oil, if affordable. I wonder if there is a direct way to purchase it or if you have a suggestion how to go about this. I would be very grateful — thank you! This was my short request that I had. I really liked your well organized book and I wish you good luck. Best regards, Karin Thieme Edgewater, NJ kthiemenj@gmail.com
